There is something about makeup that makes women (and some men) get all giddy. Oprah Winfrey actually talked about how giving out some lipstick to the charity maternity ward in some African country improved the well-being of those women.
My journey with make-up is far from over. I started playing with my Lola’s lipstick when I was around 3 yrs old, started using powder in high school, foundation and cheek tints in college… Then eyeshadow liners etc come law school..
And yesterday was just another step in that journey, side by side with Ivy of Ivy Ross Make-up, who gave us a make-up tutorial along with the winners of the Crazy Beautiful raffle.
I learned quite a bit, even during or despite of the girl talk about bikini waxes, men and kids. My favorite part is a toss up between learning how to properly draw your eyebrows and the instant smokey eye shadow for quick transformations to gimmik look.
Thanks again to Ivy Ross, Wedding Connections, Michelle Pineda photography, Unilab and Spiritloo (for the booze na linantakan ni Pam).
