One of my favorite things about being a woman is getting to play with make up everyday. And one make-up essential for me is the mascara.
For ladies like me who have lashes that just point straight downward, there is a need to curl it up. Remember that curled up lashes really helps open up your whole look, getting people a better opportunity to see those eyes sparkle.
And then once their curled up, you need a mascara to hold it there and thicken the lashes. These days my faves are both gifts from a couple of awesome girlfriends: Maybelline The Falsies Volum’ Express Mascara and L’oréal’s False Lash Wings. They’re both from a new innovation of mascara brush engineering that are supposed to make you look like you have too perfect mascara on that it appears you’re wearing fake lashes. I have used and appreciated fake lashes. It looks partucularly awesome in photos.
The Falsies
What’s great about this brand is the added volume it gives you. It has a curved brush and use the curved side starting from the roots of the lashes then slowly flare outwards, turning brush to the straighter edge.
Lash Wings
It sounds really fancy and the brush looks perfectly engineered. When you use it, it defines your individual strands and just makes your lashes look much longer but still natural.
I would use the Falsies for night-outs because I want that deeper, darker effect. And I use the Lash Wings for a more natural daytime look.
Remember, if there is one make-up that you should always put on, it’s the mascara. Go try out these brands I talked about or find one you are hiyang with. 😉
