Exams ni Addie last week… 3 years old palang may exams na! Ang mahirap lang sa isang working mom like me, who gets home late, hindi ko masyadong matutukan si Addie sa schoolwork. So, I prepared some study materials for her which she can answer while waiting for me to get home. Thank God for free worksheets available on the internet 🙂
Addie loves Math. When we studied nung weekend, nagulat ako na ang dami na niyang alam. Kala ko puro kalokohan lang natutunan eh. Hahaha. She has difficulties lang with the greater than and less than symbols. And look what I found!!
Crocodiles symbols! Ang galing ng nakaisip nito! At dahil mahilig ang anak ko sa animals, it helped her understand the concept.
When it comes to Reading, ayun na. Madaming excuses na si Addie.“Mommy, I’m sleepy” “Mommy, I’m hungry.” “Mommy, I’m tired.” Josko, ang bata bata pa, marunong na! Manang mana lang sa tatay. 😛
Sa Science naman, kasama sa exam ang parts of a tree. Pinakita ko etong photo.
Me: Â Â Â Â Addie, what’s this? (Pointing sa leaves)
Addie: Â HAIR!!!! (Sabay ngisi na parang sinasabing naisahan kita dun, Mommy!)
Ang kulit lang!
Next subject is Cultural Arts. We studied the members of the family.
Me: Â Â Â Â Â Addie, who’s this?
Addie: Â Father
Me: Â Â Â Eh this?
Addie: Â Mother
Me: Â Â Â How about this boy?
Addie: Â MY FRIEND!
Me: Â Â Â No, Addie. He’s a brother.
Addie: Â No, no, no! He’s my friend.Â
Kahit ilang ulit kong ituro, ayaw pumayag na brother! Sabi tuloy ni Papa O…
“Eh kasi, only child siya. Sampulan kaya natin ng brother”
Eh kung siya kaya sampulan ko! Kainis!
Efforts!!! Good luck sa atin hahaha!
