Kaya naman what little time to relax I have, I spend just bumming in front of the TV watching my favorite shows (Dream Dad, Forevermore at Two Wives, ano pa?!). That is if may free time ako.
Kaya naman nang makatanggap ako ng invite from Sir/Boss/Chief Spanky, along with other bloggers, for an overnight stay at F1 Hotel Manila, hindi na ako umarte! “Naku, kailangan ko ‘yan!!!”
Upon arrival, we were welcomed with coffee and treats at the Premier Lounge by F1 Hotel Manila’s Director for Operations, Mr. Tony Co, and their Marketing Coordinator, Mr. Pau Esmedilla. That’s also where I met the other bloggers (na ubod nang gaganda, pogi at witty) with whom I spent the weekend.

They gave us a briefer and I was pleasantly surprised and impressed to learn that F1 Hotel Manila is completely owned and managed by Filipinos. F1 = Filipino First. Wagi! Not only that. The name fits it perfectly, being the first ever hotel to open in BGC. They also gave us a rundown of our itinerary. Dito ako napangiti.

Sino hindi matutuwa?!?! Well, ‘yung weighing scale siguro namin sa bahay pero kebs! 😉
We had lunch at F All Day Dining, which featured F1 Hotel Manila’s FIERY AND FROSTY offerings for the holidays. All their featured dishes were, in the words of Sophisticated, the bomb! (Hindi bagay sa’kin noh? Basta masarap!)
Stuffed Roast Pork Belly with Arroz Valenciana
Christmas Bonelsss Chicken Galantina
Glazed Ham with Pineapple and Cherries
Ang favorite kong Paella
An array of tempura
And the Star of the Noche Buena Feast – Organic Lechon!!!
I especially loved their selection of seafood, which included…
Roasted Garlic Crabs
And curacha (local lobsters) that you can request to be freshly grilled by the kitchen. Hangsaraaaap!
Of course, hindi magpapahuli ang F1 Hotel Manila with their Frosty Dessert Delights (which you can bring home or share during Christmas parties)…
Pandan Log Cake with Baguio Strawberries
Queso de Bola Cheesecake
And my personal favorite, the F1 Red Velvet Savarin (rum-soaked circular cake – ginoogle ko pa ‘yan!)
So naka-5 lbs. na tayo. What’s next? Option 1: I could hit F1 Hotel’s Gym for a workout to burn all those calories, with complete facilities and a view of the beautiful people taking a dip by the pool.
Option 2: I could be part of those beautiful people taking a dip in one of F1 Hotel’s 3 swimming pools – kiddie, adult and lap. Pwede rin…
But when I entered my Fort Suite Room, there was no question. I had to stay in and simply enjoy all 46 square meters of MY space! Very cozy yet elegant, with a view of Bonifacio Highstreet and the city lights of BGC, ganito pala mag-#staycation.
What’s even better, I had two flat screen televisions in the room (isa sa living area at isa sa bedroom). Kahit commercial ng teleseryes ko, wala akong mamimiss! 😉
Plus, I also had an hour of in-room massage. Sorry, walang pictures. Baka hindi rin kayo matuwa. But I really, really, really enjoyed it. Tanggal ang mga lamig ko sa katawan. And before I knew it, dinner time na pala!
We were supposed to have a BBQ buffet at the Canary Lounge. Unfortunately, umulan. Just the same, I had fun sa chika portion with the other bloggers over grilled meats and seafood.
So, nakakailang pounds na kaya ako? Ok lang. Because F1 Hotel Manila is located at the heart of Bonifacio Global City, along 32nd Street to be precise, it’s very near S&R, St. Lukes Hospital and Bonifacio Highstreet and a few blocks away from SM Aura. Paano mabuburn ang calories? RETAIL THERAPY!!! I managed to do some Christmas shopping during my stay. O diba, relaxing but productive!
