Almost three years ago, I wrote about Addie’s first birthday, and how I tried to give her the best Hello Kitty party ever (pero within my budget). At her age then, alam kong di naman niya namalayan ang effort ni Mommy sa pag-prepare ng party but as they say, a first birthday party is really more of a celebration for the Mommy and Daddy.
Last month ago, my friend texted me if puwede ba ako maging Ninang sa bunso niya. Sagot ko, “mahirap lang ako, but I will be a great ninang.” Actually, sinabi ko talaga yun, para di masyado mataas expectation sa regalo. Hahaha! Peace, A! It was a double celebration, Baby A’s christening and first birthday. Super excited kami because I know Mrs. A. When she plans a party… all out yan. But I didn’t expect na ganito ka all-out…
The theme was Robin Hood.Ā Biglang nagka-forest sa Silver City, kaloka!
Mrs. A, who’s an interior designer by the way, focused on the details.
Archery set as table centerpieces and placemats with wood background
Photobooth display (may dala silang puno sa venue!)
Robin Hood hats, tiaras and crowns for the kids.
Dessert station filled with Robin Hood inspired sweets
At ang stage…. Sa laki niya, hindi kumasya sa camera phone ko….
The guests, especially the kids, loved everything about the party. Lalo na si Addie!
Kudos to Mommy and Daddy A and to the party suppliers. Happy birthday, Archer! If you get into trouble (pero sana hindi), you know where to find Ninang š
