Hello! Musta guys? May mangilang ngilang tao nagtatanong daw kung saan ako napunta at nagtataka na hindi ako masyado nararamdaman sa TSN. I’m touched guys.. really. Thank you for caring. Ang lagay kasi eh meron akong pinasukang kalokohan na naman sa buhay ko… like I don’t have enough to worry about and do.
I am currently taking up my masters degree… and contrary to what I thought it would be, it’s a bit of a motha effer. Hadlang sya sa soshal life… pero I have to say, quite fulfilling. Matagal ako nag-isip din if I will pursue further studies after law school, kasi naman grabe din yun ilang taong ginugol ko at namin nila P at D doon…
I am a proud member of MNSA Regular Course 52 at the NDCP… “where admission is an honor.” Nuks. Pero true.
MNSA = Masters in National Security Administration
NDCP = National Defense College of the Philippines.
Our class is 65 strong composed of 41 high ranking Armed Forces of the Philippines officers, 7 foreign nationals from different armed forces, and 17 civilian government employees. And I am one of only 7 women in the class. #girlpower
With the men who keep us sane
The course is an intensive 11 month program which requires a thesis for your final output. You cannot do this part-time. Believe me. I tried.
It also gives civilian members of the class the opportunity to be members of the reserve force of the AFP. So we all had to go thru some basic military orientation and training since we will have the rank of Lieutenant Colonel when we get commissioned — Commander for me, since I elected to join the Navy. Yes, I think it’s pretty cool too.
YES, nagmake-up ako. Hindi ko kinaya.
NDCP is also providing us with a lot of opportunities to know our country, through different lenses of national security. And not just our country, but also the effects of other foreign powers and actors as well. Alam ko akala nung iba puro lakwatsa kami at kung saan saan umaabot… trabaho yun guys at kailangan may report palagi at presentation pag balik sa College.
And did I mention the exams? Yes, exams, and quizzes and homework and group work and papers and death.
Buti na lang ang mga kuyang kong nasa military ay nagtayo ng Wednesday Group at Any Day Group, para kahit papaano may stress reliever.
And medyo sapilitan ang physical training exercises namin…pasaway lang ako.
I still have a long way to go. Please pagdasal nyo ako. #parasabayan #mnsaRC52
For those who are interested, it is not an impossible feat. Check out the NDCP’s website: http://www.ndcp.edu.ph/ It will open your eyes to some new ways to approach national security, and realize that national security is EVERY CITIZEN’s responsibility.
