What I miss most about living with my parents

January 28, 2013 by Sophisticated 3 Comments

I’ve been living away from my parents for almost 3 years now. Totally independent, no assist whatsoever. Well, fine, the pick up I drive was bought for me, but waaaay back in law school pa. And they did buy me a new bed when I moved in to my 1st apartment, and gave me my super amazing sofabed that everyone wants to steal.   Anyway, being independent has its perks. But there are moments that I can’t help think about home and mom and dad and the boys. Sa Cainta, feeling princessa ako. Eh … [Read more...]

A Poopoo Story

A Poopoo Story

Tinatanong ako nila P and S kung mahirap ba magka-baby. OO NAMAN! Mahirap mag-alaga ng baby whether you’re a working mom or a full-time mom. Lalo na if ang baby mo ay sobrang kulit and demanding!! Si Baby A pa naman hindi prim and proper. Papalitan lang ng diaper, may habulan pa. Nakaka-ubos ng energy. But seeing your baby grow is enough energy booster. Mahirap pero masarap at the same time.    For me, pinakamahirap yung first four months ni baby, especially if you’re a first time mom. Trial … [Read more...]

Ang Pasko ni D

December 28, 2012 by Domesticated Leave a Comment

Ang Pasko ni D

Last Christmas, Baby A was only 3 months old. Quiet ang Christmas. Papa O was so praning sa mga fireworks, he customized a soundproof hoodie for Baby A. Nilagyan lang naman nya ng breast pads yung hood ni baby at ginawang earmuffs.     This year, Christmas was not quiet. Sobrang busy ko. On top of the work, 4 days before Christmas, we organized a golf tournament, 3 days before Christmas, I hosted our office Christmas party, and 2 days before Christmas, nagbakasyon si yaya. Award! Naging … [Read more...]

Ang Pasko ni P

Ang Pasko ni P

Madilim ang Pasko namin. Bakit? All of a sudden, kamag-anak daw namin sila … [Read more...]

Ang Pasko ni S

Ang Pasko ni S

Christmas is for family. Always has, and always will be. And although at some point I had to sneak off when everyone started dancing Gangnam, it was still pretty fun jumping around and dancing with my titas and cousins. Yep, my family luuuuuvs to dance (much to C's chagrin) and Xmas is an especially crazy time. And after everyone has properly shed off a pound or two, comes our favorite part--- PILA!!! Yes, pinipilahan for grasya of the monetary kind Ang mga madadatung kong tita and cousins. … [Read more...]

Toddlerama

Toddlerama

Baby A learned to stand-up early. Pero mga 2 months pa after she learned to walk. AND LUPASAY-ING.   Magkaka-heart attack ako sa batang ito!!! Eto so far ang magiging cause of early death ko:   1. Hi cute doggie. Can Baby A keep you? 2. Pinipindot nya ang HOT water sa water … [Read more...]

Lola

Lola

[Read more...]

Dear Baby A

September 26, 2012 by Domesticated 3 Comments

Dear Baby A

2 months after, Mommy was diagnosed with Gestational Diabetes. Mommy had to inject herself with insulin twice a day para di ka … [Read more...]

S is for Suwail na Bata

My dad was a salesman. At dahil salesman sha, when we were quite young, palipat-lipat kami ng bahay. Hindi mapaniwalaan ng mom ko pag sinasabi ko sa kanya before na naaalala ko bits and pieces of the time when we used to live in Pampanga. My dad was assigned to handle accounts in Angeles and we were renting an apartment there. I distinctly remember the stairs that goes up the second floor of our apartment and that we had a neighbor that had a dog and I would play with it every … [Read more...]

T.S.N. PAK!

6:15 PM show, Cinema 1. … [Read more...]
