One rainy night, Papa O picked me up from work. Ang lamig! Momol weather lang.
Niyakap ko si Papa O sabay kiss.
D: B… gusto ko ng…
Papa O: Ako din… (with tingin ng pagnanasa)
D: Gusto mo din ng sabaw?
Oo sabaw talaga gusto ko. Sorry, gutom na ako nun eh and I want happy food.
While thinking where to eat, we saw this small Japanese place along Arnaiz Avenue (Pasay Road), Makati. Bumalik ang worried face ni Papa O especially when we parked and 2 guys in uniform assisted us. VIP Treatment sa parking palang.
We were surprised with the place. It looked small kasi from the outside.
One of the servers gave us a tour of the second floor. Seiji has 6 private rooms which can be merged to accommodate a bigger group. The minimum consumable is only P3,000.00.
The paintings were done by a son of one of the owners daw.
Most of the customers are Japanese. Nafi-feel ko na ang iniisip ni Papa O at that time… “siguradong, mahal ‘to! Authentic!” But, he was wrong! Except for the Wagyu, Seiji’s prices are very affordable.
Assorted Sushi (You can choose between regular and special. If it’s regular, they will use local fish)
Complimentary Desert
Di na namin napicturan yung sabaw… naubos namin agad eh!
I asked our server what Seiji stands for. Seiji pala is the Japanese guy who greeted us when we went in. Executive Chef Seiji Kamura is from Yokohoma, Japan and has over three decades of culinary experience.
He looks strict! Pero siyempre, nagpapicture pa rin ako noh!
Proof na nasarapan kami sa food ay ang aming mga tiyan! Lalo na si Papa O hahaha!
Sorry, I have to share this… May fish sa comfort rooms nila! Nakaka-conscious na may audience ka while you do your thing haha! But, I just have to say na hi-tech ang trash can. It was my first time to see it, and is actually very hygienic. Automatic Trash Can! (at talagang pinicturan ko, sorry!)
