Misibis Bay Resort

Misibis Bay Resort is a private tropical hideaway found in Cagraray Island in Bacacay, Albay. You’ve probably heard about Misibis Bay because of Zac Efron, or kung updated ka sa latest chismax sa pinoy showbiz, ang alleged secret “hook-up”  ni Gerald Anderson at Maja Salvador.

  

Anyway, from Legazpi Airport, Misibis Bay may be reached by coaster or bus (45-minutes), by a private helicopter (15 minutes), or by a fast watercraft (30 minutes). Hindi available ang chopper ko at that time, pinabili kasi ni Daddy ng suka yung pilot namin, so we took the coaster nalang.    

 

 

Meet Kuya Noki. He said, nakasama na niya si Zac Efron and Manny Pacquiao. Tinanong ko siya kung nakita niya si Gerald and Maja. Naging defensive si Kuya at sinabing, “hindi po kami ang nagkalat ng chismis!” Guilty?!

  

In fair, he’s very entertaining. Nung wala na siyang makuwento, ginawan nalang niya kami ng grasshopper from a palm leaf.

  

When we arrived at the resort, we were welcomed by the Misibis Street Sweepers Dance Troupe. (Not the real group name. Inimbento ko lang because of the costumes. Peace!)

  

 

 

There are a lot of villas to choose from. Mejo pricey nga lang. You can check out their rate sheet here. May mga special packages din sila. It’s better to wait for a promo kasi madugo ang regular rates. 

 

 

 

We stayed in a One-Bedroom Deluxe, which can fit 3-4 persons. May free banig bags for the guests. According to Kuya Noki, the banig bags were made by the locals living near Misibis Bay. 

 

 
Our villa is just beside the pool, which is great for night swimming, and derecho shower na rin after. Our villa has a veranda fronting the pool. 

 

Di ka magugutom sa Misibis! Buffet kami EVERY meal. OMG! Buti nalang may rash guard. 🙂

Ansarap nito. It’s turon with leche flan inside. Di ka nga lang makakatulog agad after dahil sa sugar rush!

 

 
The resort also has venues for conferences and team building. Good luck nalang kung maka-concentrate ka dahil tinatawag ka ng pool and beach sa labas. 

 

During the day, we stayed at the beach, and tried some resort activities.
