For our 10th year anniversary, C and I went to Lemuria. A quaint French resto in the heart of QC. Recommended by dear friends Mina Pangandaman and Raquel Perez (both my fellow GLADIATORS from PRISME Strategies), C and I ventured out of Makati to the nearby city for a short Sunday dinner adventure.
The food was gourmet French but reasonably priced. The ambience was perfect for a quiet romantic evening. Unfortunately for me, i was the only wine drinker in our party for two so I had to settle for their house red of cabernet savignon (i typically prefer Aussie wines but their house red did not disappoint).
Although we didnt party with a bottle like i would have peferred, C was interested to see Lemuria’s famed wine cellar (which Raquel’s bf reportedly commented on that I should not be allowed to venture in alone due to my drunken inclinations). It was quite impressive to say the least. Wine collected by the family that runs Lemuria were modestly stacked in a 20 sq m (give or take) temperature managed room, with a specially locked cabinet for their priced poisons, some costing to up to P45k per bottle. That cabinet, we were told, had a total of about P1.5MIllion worth of wine.
