Bring Your Own Cup Day

        Sa aming tatlo, given naman na ang gimikera ay si S. Noong kasikatan ng Embassy, once lang ata ako nakapunta. As of today, ni hinuha ng Opus o Republiq, di ko pa naaaninagan. Pero dun sa Urbn Bar & Kitchen sa Fort Strip, nakapunta na ko. Havey diba??? Buti na lang na-invite ako ng 711, through Nuffnang, to the Media Launch of the SLURPEE BRING YOUR OWN CUP DAY campaign.

 

 

        Tama ang nabasa niyo, magkakaroon ng BRING YOUR OWN (BYO) CUP DAY ang 7-Eleven!!! For one entire day, anyone can bring in the craziest, most creative “cup” na maiisip niyo and fill it up with the world’s favorite frozen beverage, Slurpee! Ang saya! Pwedeng fishbowl, trophy, pitchel, kahit sapatos at bota (pwera lang alipunga).

As long as your “cup” complies with certain requirements…

 

1. It must be hygienic.Para rin naman sa sarili niyong kapakanan ito, hija at hijo.
2. It must be watertight. Meaning, kaya niya mag-hold ng liquid. So kahit environment-friendly ang paper bags, wag niyo na subukan. Atsaka maawa tayo sa magma-mop ng sahig kapag tumulo.
3. It must be fixed in size and shape. Alam ko na iniisip niyo, pwedeng pwede magdala ng garbage bag. Maliit, handy at malulunod ka sa dami ng Slurpee na mabibitbit mo. But sorry, dehins pwede.
4. No refills. Kung gusto niyo mag-round 2, pila at bayad lang ulit.
5. It must be able to fit in the MaCUPangyarihang Bilog. Magkakaroon ng standee sa bawat 7-Eleven store with a 9-inch hole. Kailangan niyong mailusot ang cup/container niyo through it para mag-qualify.

Ito ang dala kong cup. Bumili ako sa Landmark ng tin pail, printed and put 7-Eleven and The Soshal Network stickers on it (may plugging dapat involved) and tied a small scarf sa gilid. Para saan ang scarf? Giginawin kasi ang pail ko once punuin ko siya ng Slurpee!!!

 

 

At kapag pasok na sa banga ang cup niyo, you only need to pay P29.00 para punuin ang container niyo and enjoy the goodness of Slurpee!!! Warning though: BRAINFREEZE may, and most probably, will occur. Parati nangyayari yan sakin e.

 

       

The idea first started in Australia, has made its way to Malaysia, at ngayon, nasa Pilipinas na! The BYO Cup day kicks off the celebration of the landmark partnership between 7-Eleven and Coca-Cola, and its bottling partner, Coca-Cola FEMSA.  With it, the world’s favorite frozen beverage product, Slurpee, and the world’s number one beverage brand, Coca-Cola, come together in one happy drinking experience.

        At mga bigatin ang attendees sa event ha. Present was Mr. Victor Paterno, the President and CEO of Philippine Seven Corporation, the local franchisor 7-Eleven. He said:

        At happy talaga ako na makita si Atty. Adel. Ang gwapo niya! Pero mas happy ako sa Coke-flavored Slurpee na nahakot ko plus the freebies. 🙂
