Super agree ako dun sa pinaka-upvoted na statement at the comment portion below the article, and I think it says more than the sixteen words that make it up. As the reader quoted comedian Paul Rodriguez, “Hunting is not a sport. In a sport, both sides should know they’re in the game.” Therefore, akin lang, hunting is cowardly, hiding behind the bushes habang inaantay mo yung prey na mag-gallop around.
Looking at the picture, naalala ko yung Kingslayer (si Jaime Lannister) sa Game of Thrones, na kahit na napatay niya yung Mad King (Aerys), eh kinamuhian pa rin siya because of the treacherous manner by which he did the killing. Wala itong pinagkaiba sa sitwasyon ng leon kay Chavit, or hunters who, while garbed in their camouflages and staying a safe distance from the animals, prey on these innocent and endangered creatures all for the sake of a game where the trophy is an eerie head of an innocent animal that people will quietly judge you for the rest of your life.
Treachery truly is the weapon of cowards.
Uy, ang bastos mo ha… serious ‘to! ;-P
