70th Birthday ni Father Thunder last December 27. Big number. Ayaw daw niya. Iniisip ko rin mag-organize ng bonggang surprise birthday celebration for him. Pero tama si kuya, “if we did it grand, we wouldn’t be 100% din.” Kasi nga naman…alam niyo na.
So we had a simple, intimate but super bundat lunch at HOUSE OF WAGYU STONE GRILL at the 4th Floor of Two E-Com Tower, near SM Mall of Asia.
First time namin lahat dun. We decided to try the place since favorite to the highest performance level ni Father Thunder ang steak. Pagpasok namin ng restaurant, impressive ang interiors…
Pati ang view impressive…

Dapat lang dahil pati pala presyo dun IMPRESSIVE!!! For starters, Daddy-o had the Rockefeller Oysters. Kinompute namin at lumalabas, P50 per piece!
Father Thunder ready for the MAIN EVENT…
ANG WAGYU STEAK!
Served on piping hot volcanic rock.
At may specific instructions sa pag-kain…
“Ma’am/Sir, I will be turning over your steak once. Let it sit for 1 minute.
Thereafter, you may enjoy your steak by slicing one bite-size piece at a time. This is in order to keep the steak’s juices sealed in for a longer period of time. Otherwise, it may dry out.”
Nosebleed!

Sulit! Ngayon ko rin lang nalaman at napatunayan that the best way to enjoy fine steak is to eat it with plain rock salt.
All in all, nag-enjoy at nabusog kami. Ang especially happy si Lolo Thunder spending his birthday with his apos ang the entire Familia Provinciated!
Maligayang bati ulit, Daddy-o!!!
Happy happy birthday to Father Thunder!! In fairness, winner ang wagyu steak experience nio! Tatandaan ko yang “rock salt”. LOL!
Kelan kaya ako makaka-afford kumain ng Wagyu steak? Hehe! Belated happy birthday to your daddy, P!
