After hanging out with Tita Karrots, whom I absolutely now adore, I found myself yet again in another night time adventure. No reason except that it was Wednesday and because I can…
Had drinks at Scarlet Lounge (Fort Strip, above Craft) with some girlfriends to calm me after an exciting and fun-filled session at Live Laugh Lolz. Had a glass of chardonnay, which I really didn’t like. Then I was whisked away all the way to EDSA Shang. I was not really up for driving to Mandaluyong City but as always I was prevailed upon.
And was I glad.
My girl K brought us to the grand opening of Madison’ Bistro & Cafe. Located at the ground floor of EDSA Shangri-La Hotel, Madison boasts of 4 internationally trained chef’s, mostly Italians from what I remember Perry Quimbo was saying, one of whom trained with Gordon Ramsey (scary)…
We had champagne — and that bubbly was good…as well as the White Bechamel with Quattro Formaggi Pizza. Divine divine divine… I wasn’t able to take a photo because it was devoured almost immediately.
I am definitely going back for more and try out the rest of that menu. And the ambience is warm, elegant and simple. The service crew are all obviously well-trained and anticipate your needs.
We all ended up back in Privé afterwards for the “one-for-the-road” drink which of course turned into another 2 glasses of champagne.
So all in all, it was just another typical Wednesday night. Hahahaha!
Somebody has to sponsor me those Liveraide thingies already…
