Have you guys met Diego?

He’s the super duper cute, handsome and witty seven-year-old boy in PLDT Home DSL’s TV Commercial.

While watching the commercial, puro “cuuuute” ang nasabi ko. Masisisi niyo ba ako, eh he’s cute talaga!!!! (Addie, huwag gumaya kay Mommy ha!)

PLDT is known for its commercials with strong messages on family values and connections at home. Remember the “Anna Banana” commercial? The commercial featured a young boy named Derek S. Lorenzo, his song “Anna Banana” posted on You Tube and his very supportive mom who clicked it a million times.

The “Anna Banana” commercial received over 6,000,000 You Tube views, and PLDT won several awards for advertising excellence.

PLDT HOME DSL now brings us another family, the Ledesma Family, who is an example of today’s young urban family: tight-knit, enjoys doing things together online using multiple gadgets simultaneously to help one another out. This is where PLDT Home DSL comes in. It provides limitless and reliable family-sized internet connection. This kind of strong connection helps in keeping the family together, in more ways than one.

The center of PLDT HOME DSL’s new commercial is, of course, the ever so adorable, Diego, who has over 253,000 likes on his advice column on Facebook, “Ask Diego.”

When I learned that Diego has a Facebook account at a very young age and that he personally answers the questions, I was a bit alarmed. But then it turns out that Diego’s parents, Paolo and Lara, delete offensive content, and sometimes answer the more difficult questions themselves. They, with Ate Trisha, also help Diego type out answers and spell difficult words. The focus on family values and connection through limitless sharing made the difference.

Diego has received so many questions on topics ranging from studies, bullying, vacation, etc., and his answers are cute as him!
