Kiddie Sparty

Nabanggit ko naman sa inyo kung gaano ka-demanding si E3 na asikasuhin namin ang kanyang 6^th birthday party. At very firm siya sa isang bagay – na “FROZEN” ang theme ng party niya! 

Si E1 kasi, nakapag-slumber party na. Si E2 naman, pool party. E ayaw ng maliit magpahuli. Ayaw din niya ng may kagaya. Kaya SPA PARTY a.k.a. SPARTY! 

Ngayon  na may concept at theme na kami, here’s how we executed the best KIDDIE SPARTY EVAH! 

Nailfinity 

Walang sparty kung walang foot spa, nail art at massage involved. Agree? Agree! These are the very services very ably provided to us by the people from NAILFINITY. 

Thanks to D, na-contact ko sila. They were very accommodating, especially since medyo short notice. Mr. Oliver and Ms. Aoui sent four of their well-trained nail technicians and staff to pamper all 20 kiddie guests at Kuyakoy’s house in Fort Bonifacio.  Tignan niyo naman ang mga “senyorito” at “senyorita”… 

Nailfinity’s staff was very efficient. Every kid was able to get a relaxing massage/foot spa and had their nails done in cute and colorful designs – may Hello Kitty, flowers, butterflies, etc. — within the duration of the party. Tuwang tuwa ang mga bagets!

Plus, Nailfinity gave us a very reasonable package, inclusive of foot spa, nail art and a 15-minute massage for the kids.

When I checked out Nailfinity’s facebook page, which featured their cozy interiors and fixtures, na-engganyo akong mag-sparty na rin sa kanila on my birthday. D at S, go kayo ha!

Décor 

Inubos ko ang Christmas decors namin sa bahay para ma-pull off ang “Frozen” look sa bahay ni Kuyakoy. Nagsabit kami ng shining, shimmering snowflakes and crystals all around the house.

E1 and E2 made centerpieces using glasses, styro and printed “Frozen” stickers on sticks.

Siyempre, para hindi mawala ang “zen” feel, we also hung Japanese lanterns. Everything had to be in white, silver and baby blue. At dahil praktikal kami, everything had to be bought sa Divisoria. 😉

Outfits 

Part of the kids’ lootbags, aside from candies and other treats, were white robes, each one personalized. Para donyang donya ang mga peg nila. Kapag sa Divisoria kayo bumili nang bulto, lumalabas na P140/robe plus P30 for embroidery ng names. Di na masama diba? 

We also ordered special M + K = a pins for the kids in Anna,Elsa and Olaf designs. Initially, gusto ko sanang gawing patches sewn sa robes nila. Pero naisip naming mas magandang pins na lang, which the kids could transfer to their bags or make part of their outfits kapag tapos na ang event. 

The Nailfinity staff were also kind enough to wear baby blue uniforms as requested.

Food 

Of course, we served the usual kiddie party food like fried chicken, lasagna, barbecue and the like. Pero to make it more special, and to keep with the “Frozen” theme, nag-serve kami ng SNOW CONES! 

Hassle ba kamo? Sobrang hindi. Bumili lang ako ng shaved ice for P70/sack at syrup at P150/bottle in blueberry, cola and cherry flavors. Then we served them in cute printed cups at super hit na siya!!! 

For dessert, I ordered COOKIE SHOTS from Cookie Bar Manila at P320 for a box of 8. Normally, the cookie shots are served with milk inside, pero dahil “Frozen” nga, we served them with ice cream!  Ang saya ng mga bulilit. Pati oldies, nag-enjoy!

Games 

Here are some of the games we played: 

1. Trip to Arendelle – your typical Trip to Jerusalem pero dun kasi nakatira sina Elsa at Anna e. Hehe.

2. Hot Stuff – the kids will “stuff” as many “hot”-dogs in their mouth at ang pinakamalaki…este pinakamaraming masubong hotdog, wins! Medyo wa-poise lang pero kids naman sila e!

3. Snow Face – The kids have to look for 3 candies inside a plate full of whipped cream using only their mouths. Ang kwela nito lalo na sa pictures!

4. Do You Want To Build A… — The kids are grouped into two teams. The host (si E1) sings the popular song from Frozen with missing lyrics. Each member of the team will have to look for the correct word from a fish bowl at the other end of the room to complete the lyrics and return to the starting line and scream “FROZEN!!!” The team that reaches 5 points first wins!
