When we had our parent-teacher conference last August, I asked Addie’s teacher if we can have a small party in school. Sabi ni Teacher, “actually Mommy, araw araw po sinasabi ni Addie na birthday na niya.” Homaygadz! September birthday niya pero August palang namamalita na! Hindi naman excited masyado anak ko noh?
We got McDonald’s this time because the Jollibee near Addie’s school can’t hold takeout parties. Ewan bakit π Sa totoo lang, Jollibee lang kilala ni Addie and she kept on saying sa classmates niya na ang birthday niya ay Jollibee. I asked her, if okay lang kung McDonalds. Ang sagot ba naman, “No, Jollibee!” Demanding lang!
Times like these, you need a juicy!! Nakaisip ako ng paraan. I told Addie that she’s going to have a zoo party. Wag na i-mention ang McDonalds or Jollibee!! Pumayag naman at hindi na rin niya napansin na walang bee π
Since McDonald’s didn’t have zoo themed party materials, we had to provide our own.
Party loot bags. Paper bags from Paper Chic Studio and animal favors from M+K=a
Animal Rainbow Loom charms made by my niece, Nicole.
Β Party shades instead of party hats from Market! Market! Super patok ‘to sa kiddos!Β
And cupcakes from Sophie’s mom.
In fairness to McDonalds, they were very accommodating. Since I provided the backdrop, loot bags and party hats (shades), they replaced it with more balloons and prizes. May surprise appearance pa si Grimace for free π
Mukha namang enjoy si Addie π
Effect naman, di ba? Hindi bongga ang party pero masaya si Addie… kaya masaya na rin si Mommy and Daddy πΒ
We love you, Addietot!Β
Happy Birthday Addie!!!
