Our Coffee Table Book Project

We, the TSN girls, have so many dreams… world peace, equality….and last but not the least, to have our own coffee table book (Dahil hindi pa kami sawa sa pagmumukha namin 😛 ).

No joke, we really want to our own coffee table book with our favorite blog entries which we can show to our kids, families and friends who don’t surf the net. And last weekend, we got a chance to start our coffee table book project with the help of Canon SELPHY CP910.

Canon SELPHY CP910 is a compact photo printer with AirPrint™ support for easy printing from smartphones and compatible cameras.  AirPrint™ allows you to print photos direct from your iPad, iPhone and iPod Touch using Wi-Fi without installing device drivers. Mejo hindi kami techie but we found the Canon SELPHY easy to use.

1. Turn on the Canon SELPHY, select Wi-Fi settings and choose your network.

2. After editing your photos using your mobile phone or tablet, select the photo for printing.

 

3. Click print and select Canon CP910 printer and the paper size. Then print!

(Yes, those are bread crumbs! Sorry, we were eating snacks in the sala while printing. Lol!)

Canon SELPHY can also print directly from your memory cards and USB sticks. #superprinter.

But what’s great about this printer is that we were able to work in different places inside and outside the house at the same time. There was a time when P edited the photos using the iPad on the swing in the garden while I stayed inside (eating and) waiting for P to send the photos via Airprint. Galing lang!

Now, it’s time for our coffee table book project. Mahirap mamili ng blog entries ha! May debateng naganap 🙂 We chose the blog entries, photos and events which are very memorable for us.

What we liked about Canon SELPHY is that it can print photos with a glossy or semi-gloss finish using the same photo paper. So if gusto namin ng more vibrant look, we used the gloss finish. And for more dramatic effect, we used semi-gloss.

While working on our project, we craved for milk tea so we brought our project to a milk tea place near us. The Canon SELPHY is very compact kaya walang hassle sa paglipat.

Ang ganda namin noh?

Ay ng photos pala!

Canon SELPHY prints lab-quality photos which they say last a lifetime. So, in 20 years, we have something to look at and laugh our hearts out in between mahjong sessions. ;-P

Now, we have to make 2 more para meron kami tig-isa.
