Hindi ako adventurous when it comes to food kaya I tend to stick to the classics — ‘yung familiar, ‘yung safe. Pero may pagkakataong you need to change it up. Para hindi maging boring, hindi ka magsawa. And that’s exactly what McDonald’s did when they introduced their latest offering — the Pork McRib! And we are so glad we tried it!!!
But last Tuesday, during the launch of McDonald’s latest offering, the new McRib, naku, hindi effect ang mantra ko!
How can I possibly resist the mouthwatering goodness of a succulent pork patty, generously dipped in sweet, tangy and smoky barbecue sauce and sandwiched between two warm caramelized buns! Jusme!
Sinama ko si E2 during the launch and we were both surprised at how the McDonald’s store at Eton Centris was transformed into a rustic, country-style festival, down to the wall treatment, carpet and centerpieces. McDo pa ba ‘to?! We had no idea then what the new product was…
Garlic bread?
Something fruity/healthy?
Something country?
Ang hirap manghula. Pero sigurado kami it was going to be something yummy. And we were right! In fact, naka-dalawa agad si E2!
The New McRib is the perfect partner to McDonald’s World Famous Fries!
We were definitely lucky to be the first ones to try the McRib in the Philippines. But the good news is it’s NOW AVAILABLE at all McDonald’s stores nationwide via Dine-In, Take-Out, Drive-Thru and McDelivery! Just use the McDo PH App, dial 86-2-36 or visit mcdelivery.com.ph. Kahit alin, just try and get your hands on a McRib today. Hindi niyo pagsisisihan, promise!
The classic variant, with onions and pickles, is priced at P99 a la carte, while the McRib Deluxe, with lettuce and mayo, is priced at P119. Sa laki at sa sarap, sulit! 😉
But take note, the McRib will be available for a LIMITED TIME ONLY. Kaya kung ako sa inyo, pa-deliver na or fly to the nearest McDonald’s store and order the McRib! Even share your McRib experience, tulad ng “moment” naming ito ni Ronald (Sorry, Papa N :P) through McDonald’s Facebook fan page, facebook.com/McDo.ph, or tag @McDo_PH pn Twitter or Instagram with the hashtag #McRibCraving.
